We have a tentative schedule, beginning with a scrimmage on September 12! Please read below for full details!
Players can go to the Expocentre and fill out the registration form anytime M-F 8-5 or the form can be emailed to reception@ksexpo.com. Go to https://www.ksexpo.com/p/events/275. (The 2017 form can be used as the Expo staff has not updated the information of their website yet. For a player to step on the ice, the Commissioner must receive confirmation from the Expocentre that the player is fully registered. Please register before September 11 so that we can form teams to practice.
The insurance issue is still not settled. We are attempting to get our organization officially sanctioned by USA Hockey. If that happens, all players must be USA Hockey members for insurance coverage to be valid. ISI membership and insurance will not be acceptable. If we cannot get sanctioned by USAH, the Expocentre is also looking at other options.
I will begin updating the schedule on https://www.ksexpo.com/p.aspx?pID=events/ice-calendar/148&. Last year’s season is still there right now. Keep in mind that the Expo is still working on the ice scheduling for other organizations and groups that are requesting ice time, plus many other events that will be scheduled at the venue. Meaning that the schedule is subject to change.
